500 Club
The Somerset 500 club is a fund to support talented young sports people in Somerset who have an ambition to compete at the London 2012 or 2016 Olympic Games. The fund is administrated by the Somerset Community Foundation and applications can be made online at www.somersetcf.org.uk or by contacting the SCF office on 01458 833133.
A board of thirteen people meet quarterly to deliberate an application. The fund now supports 24 young people in the county. |
