SASP Club Bulletin

Sign up to the SASP Club Bulletin and stay up-to-date with the latest funding and training information, as well as other useful things to know to support the running of your club or organisation. We know you are busy so we don't want to bombard you with information. We will keep these bulletins to every 8 weeks and provide you with information we feel will make managing your club or organisation easier.

Buddle is the new home of Club Matters.

They share the latest information, training and tools to help clubs and organisations overcome challenges and make the most of the opportunities available to them. They are passionate about enabling organisations to be safe, inclusive, agile and resilient enough to secure their long-term future and unlock the advantages of sport and physical activity for everyone.

Sported are the UK's largest network of community groups supporting half a million young people to overcome barriers to reach their full potential. Their role is to empower the local heroes running these groups by providing much needed professional expertise, resources and operational support, free of charge, to help their group survive and thrive.

Sport England is an arms-length body of government responsible for growing and developing grassroots sport and getting more people active across England. If you are a club looking for funding then check out the Sport England funding page to find the right fund for you.

The Activity Alliance is the leading voice for disabled people in sport and activity. It is not right or fair that disabled people are the least active in our society. Sport and activity play an important role in our nation's health. The Activity Alliance want to create a fairer society for everyone. A place where everyone can be active however and wherever they want to be. You can also check out the SASP inclusion webpage for useful information and contacts to help your club or organisation become more inclusive.

The Digital Marketing Hub is a free hub of on-demand training, webinars, mentorship and benefits to provide support for those in Sports and Physical Activity in England.


Safeguarding Resources

The Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) is part of the NSPCC. The CPSU was founded in 2001 in response to a series of high-profile cases of abuse of young athletes. Their aim is to help improve safeguarding and child protection practices within sport organisations, to ensure all children and young people are safe while participating in sport. Please take a look at their website for some fantastic safeguarding resources.

The Ann Craft Trust (ACT) is a national charity which exists to minimise the risk of abuse of disabled children and adults at risk. Through pioneering training, practice reviews and contributing to world-leading research, they support organisations to safeguard disabled children and adults at risk and minimise the risk of harm.
