Fit for Work
The Fit for Work Programme aims to help adults with disabilities get ready for employment. It offers a 10-week programme, with sessions lasting 2 hours each week. Coaches will focus on various sports and strength and conditioning training to prepare participants physically. The main goal is to enhance employability and support individuals in being fit for the workplace by improving physical stamina, functional movement, soft skills, and overall wellbeing. Fit for Work also provides an opportunity for participants to socialise, stay active, and have fun.
At the end of the programme, there will be a Celebration Event to mark the completion of the course. This event will also serve as a platform to discuss future steps, such as continuing physical activities, volunteering, gaining work experience, or exploring employment opportunities.
