About PE/Sport Coach and Dance Apprenticeships
Are you an aspiring Physical Education Teachers/Coach, Dance Teacher? If so, then this is the perfect route to pursue your career goals. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced staff and learn the skills required to work with children by shadowing and supporting them. Enhancing your sport or dance delivery techniques and knowledge. You will also have the chance to share your own ideas and creativity to enrich the offering.
Hours: 30-37 hours per week
Salary: From £5.28 per hour

Duties include:
• Working alongside teachers and coaches to deliver fun, inclusive, and engaging PE / Dance lessons, supervising, and supporting children.
• You will work 4 days a week with 1 day spent in college.
• Assisting the teacher with the planning and execution of learning activities, including extracurricular clubs.
• Providing support for students' social needs by encouraging and modelling positive behaviour.
• Work with teachers to help students gain the highest level they can by monitoring individual progress, achievements, and development.
